It played over in my mind and had me thinking about why positive growth focussed environments and teams focussed on growth and expansion work. It’s all about the common goal, the achievement, the walking the same path, the focus on what has to be done, what needs to be done, what can be done.

Coming from a management background, I know that there is nothing more pleasing than seeing your team grow, them stretching themselves and achieving their goals in a safe, positive and growth mindset environment. In order to do this the team must feel valued, they must feel safe to express their opinions. But importantly they want to know their value, that they are a valued part of the team, valued by the company that they work for and that their dreams and goals are also important.

Corporate Coaching can play such an important part in this for both the employee and the employer. In all areas of life a coach helps get the person over the line, identifying the goal, focused on what needs to be done, breaking down the end goal into smaller bite sized pieces and ensuring that they stay the course, that they have the resilience, tenacity and the endurance to achieve the goal.

More and more with the uncertainty of COVID life we all need as much support as possible as we are walking into the unknown, we are working harder and often longer hours. The certainty of our pre COVID lives has disappeared.
